Alisha Brownewell - Office Manager
I officially joined Robin’s team in the summer of 2017 – but have been working with Robin and the dance school since 2016, helping to coordinate fundraising efforts and events. I have a bachelors in Business Administration and a concentration in Management with 15 years of Banking and finance experience.
Born and Raised in Elkhart, I started dancing at age 1 ½ in the old Michigan Street Fabric building at Dance Center 2. As a Child, I loved going to live shows with my parents and remember pointing at the stage and saying “One day, I will be up there!” The Historical Bristol Opera House, became my second home from age 12-18 where I was cast in many productions , including The King and I, Bye Bye Birdie, The Wizard of Oz, State Fair, Guys and Dolls, Crazy for You, Sweet Charity, and Pippin. I also held my internship with the Bristol Opera House where I created set design, costuming, and lighting for many other productions. Voted most likely to appear on Broadway, I also held many key roles in my high school performances.
The ability to dance and perform gives the heart an outlet to express. I am so grateful to be a part of a team that not only builds self-esteem, self-confidence and self-worth but also allows children to be a part of the community in a big way.
